Justin Jacobs directs and manages the Financial Advisory division at Avondale, as well as creates and implements complex financial planning strategies for high net worth clients. Before founding Avondale, Justin was Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Strategist at BBVA Compass, annually earning Club Adelante status as one of the company’s top national performers. Before that, he worked as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, where he was the junior partner on the top producing team in Central Texas. Justin has a BA degree in Economics from Yale University, where he played football and twice earned ‘Most Athletic’ honors from the athletic department. He serves on the Boards of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (chairman), Boy Scouts of America, and CK Youth Foundation, and is a member at Austin Ridge Bible Church.
Tanner Price
VP, Sr. Financial Advisor

Tanner Price focuses on customized financial planning for business owners and highly compensated executives, specifically in the technology sector. Prior to becoming a financial advisor at Avondale, Tanner played professional football in Paris, France where he captained his team to an undefeated season and French national championship in 2015. Before playing professionally, Tanner was the four-year starting quarterback at Wake Forest University where he was named to the ‘Academic All ACC’ team three years in a row and graduated with a BA degree in Economics. He is currently active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and attends Austin Ridge Bible Church. During his leisure time, Tanner is actively involved with local youth football organizations, sharing his passion, knowledge and skills while coaching kids of all ages.
Joanne Burks, CPA
CFO & COO

Joanne Burks, CPA serves as Director of Client Service for Avondale. Her responsibilities include the administrative and operational aspects of the firm. She joined Avondale after a career in accounting and finance in industries including commercial real estate, restaurant management, and the non-profit sector where she has served as Controller, Financial Analyst, Accounting Manager, and CFO. She obtained her BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, is a licensed certified public accountant, and holds a CGMA designation from the AICPA. Her professional affiliations include membership in the Austin Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Joanne is a sustaining member of National Charity League – Capital of Texas Chapter, serves on the board of CYT Austin, and volunteers for several other non-profit organizations in the Austin area.
Brittany Gregory
Operations Admin

Brittany Gregory serves as the Operations Admin for Avondale. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University. While attending Texas Tech, she was an active member of Delta Gamma sorority and Professional Convention Management/Student Event Planning Association. Through these organizations, she participated in philanthropic events to help raise money for the organizations Service for Sight and Locks of Love. Brittany earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a minor in Event Planning. Since graduating, Brittany has received extensive experience in several different industries, working for Walt Disney World, Kendra Scott, Camp Lucy, New Leaf, and most recently, C12. Brittany enjoys spending time with family and friends, and she attends Austin Ridge Bible Church. Her hobbies include photography, traveling, pickle ball, and TTU sports.
Trevin Harris
Client Service Associate

Trevin Harris is the Client Service Associate for Avondale. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA degree in Accounting and an MS degree in Finance. During his time at Texas Tech, he was a member of the business valuation club and was actively involved in his church’s college ministry. Prior to joining Avondale, Trevin worked at a prominent regional accounting firm providing litigation support services including business valuation, forensic accounting, and financial damages calculations. He is a member at Austin Ridge Bible Church and is actively involved in the student ministry. Outside of the office, Trevin enjoys playing disc golf, rock climbing, and spending time outdoors.
Trevor Knight
Leadership Strategist

Trevor Knight serves as the Leadership Strategist for Avondale Wealth Advisors. He works full-time as a Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Unified Field Services, a home services company located in Frisco, TX. Prior to UFS, Trevor spent 2 years as a producer and consultant on the employee benefits team at USI Insurance Services in Dallas, TX. He also spent time as a financial analyst at Avondale Wealth Advisors. Out of college Trevor played in the National Football League with the Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals. He attended Texas A&M University as a student-athlete where he completed a Masters of Science Degree in Business Management at the Mays College of Business. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma.
